Full Minutes # * Special Meeting ** Organizational Meeting
The Meeting of the Special Common Council was called to order at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. It was noted that the meeting had been announced and a notice posted at City Hall.
Roll call was taken, with the following members present: Mayor Mike Giese, Ald. Dennis Aspenson, Ald. Jim Olson, Ald. Robert Muth, Ald. Clarence Stellner, and Ald. Kim Smith.
Excused Absence: Ald. Tim Miller.
Also Present: Financial Services Director/Treasurer Fred Buehler, City Clerk Cari Burmaster, and Human Resource Specialist Hope Burchell.
Item 2 - Compensation for non-union employees.
Item 3 - Closed Session:
To consider a motion to convene in closed session under Section 19.85 (1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility (Police Chief). Motion by Ald. Smith, second by Ald. Aspenson, to go into Closed Session. On roll call vote: Ald. Dennis Aspenson - aye, Ald. Jim Olson - aye, Ald. Bob Muth - aye, Ald. Clarence Stellner - aye, Ald. Kim Smith - aye. In Closed Session.
